The three men accused of plotting a bombing campaign had strong roots to Canadian society

All three men were thoroughly integrated into Canadian society, and one even appeared as a contestant on Canadian Idol. The RCMP is updating its profile of terror suspects to reflect what appears to be a growing trend of homegrown terrorists in western countries coming from the intellectual elite.
