Charlie Sheen hospitalized after hotel rampage

Police ordered the 45-year-old actor to undergo a psychiatric evaluation after he trashed his hotel suite during a drug binge.

Maybe it was the realization that he’ll mostly be remembered for his role on mediocre sitcom Two and a Half Men. Maybe he finally saw Wall Street 2. Whatever it was, something set Sheen off yesterday, and police had to be called to his suite in the Plaza hotel after his female companion phoned the front desk. Sheen had reportedly locked her in the closet. The actor is currently the highest paid man in television, receiving $1.8 million per episode of Men. But he hasn’t been able to shake his problems with addiction, and spent 93 days in rehab earlier this year to deal with cocaine use. It looks like he’s headed back into counseling.
