Amazon Pulls Pedophile Guide After Outcry

  • First Posted: Nov 11 2010 07:44 AM

Many customers thought selling The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure was not a good idea.

Amazon.com had been selling the Kindle version of the book for $4.79. Written by Phillip Greaves, it’s described as a set of rules for pedophiles to follow in order to make pedosexual situations safer for young people involved in them. The store’s customers blasted Amazon.com via Twitter and Facebook for selling the title, but yesterday morning the company was still defending its right to offer the book, arguing it was an issue of free speech. Wednesday evening it was apparently pulled from the website. Another book called Understanding Loved Boys and Boylovers is still available on the site, as is I Am the Market: How How to Smuggle Cocaine by the Ton, in Five Easy Lessons.
