WikiLeaks to Target Major U.S. Bank

Julian Assange says his next document dump could “take down a bank or two.”
In an interview with Forbes earlier this month, the controversial head of the WikiLeaks website said his organization will release documents early next year that will reveal shady dealings at the top levels of a major U.S. bank. Assange didn’t specify which bank would be the target of his next leak, but at one point in the interview he did mention Goldman Sachs by name. Goldman Sachs recently agreed to a US$550 million settlement with the U.S. Security and Exchange Commission after it admitted it had given incomplete information to its investors. Assange said he hoped the leak will prompt an investigation and reforms to U.S. banking laws.
