Justin Trudeau Slammed for Furry Christmas Card

And you thought the only offensive thing about him was that Captain Morgan moustache.

His creepy facial hair is gone, but Liberal MP Justin Trudeau has caused a flap by sending out a Christmas card depicting him and his family draped in a pretty ostentatious amount of coyote fur. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals released a statement calling the card “lurid” and said that most coyotes caught in the wild are snared in inhumane steel-jawed traps that cause animals to gnaw their own limbs off in order to escape. A spokesman for Trudeau said the family wore fur because they are friends with the owners of Canada Goose, the Toronto-based company that made the garments. So is the younger Trudeau’s wardrobe unethical? Perhaps, but arguably his father’s was much more offensive.
