The WikiLeaks founder predicts that there will be resignations at the company over his next document dump.
Still under mansion arrest on an English estate as he fights extradition to Sweden, Julian Assange told the London Times that he is holding a large amount of confidential information on the Bank of America. The bank is the largest holding company in the U.S. and the country’s fifth most profitable corporation. The firm has been beset by problems recently and has received $45 billion in bailouts since 1998. It has also been fined millions of dollars for fraud. Assange told the Times, “We don't want the bank to suffer unless it's called for. But if its management is operating in a responsive way there will be resignations.” The bank stopped processing payments to WikiLeaks last week.
