Harper to Shuffle Cabinet Tuesday

A minor cabinet shuffle will see the appointment of a new environment minister.
The environment post was left vacant in November when Jim Prentice resigned his cabinet position to take a job on Bay Street with CIBC. Since then Conservative house leader John Baird has been doing double duty as temporary environment minister, leading some critics to accuse the Tories of not being committed to tackling environmental issues. Sources indicate Stephen Harper will rectify that today by appointing a full-time environment minister, while moving around up to six other cabinet ministers. Who will take the environment post remains a secret, but the scuttlebutt on Parliament Hill indicates current Heritage Minister James Moore is a frontrunner.
