Prince William Chooses Harry to Be Best Man

Kate Middleton’s sister Philippa will be her maid of honour at the April 29 ceremony.

Just a guess, but Prince Harry probably throws a mean bachelor party. Two days after the notoriously hard-partying prince was photographed appearing drunk in the company of several blonde women at a Soho nightclub, his brother’s office officially announced that he would be taking on best man responsibilities at Prince William’s upcoming wedding. Philippa “Pippa” Middelton will be her sister’s maid of honour. Royal watchers are abuzz over the spring wedding, which will be the biggest royal spectacle since William’s mother Diana married Prince Charles in 1981. The day of the wedding, April 29, will be a national holiday in the U.K., and much of London will be shut down to allow processions to and from Westminster Abbey.
