The lucrative sitcom is done for the season after its troubled star railed against producer Chuck Lorre in a radio interview.

Who let Charlie Sheen do a radio interview? Because the result of his conversation with host Alex Jones Thursday was predictable: he sounded insane. Sheen cut a wide swathe with his vitriol, blasting everything from Alcoholics Anonymous to producer Chuck Lorre. “I embarrassed him in front of his children and the world by healing at a pace that his unevolved mind cannot process,” Sheen said. After the interview, CBS announced it was halting production of the show after only 16 episodes this season, with no indication when or if shooting will resume. Sheen then issued an open letter to TMZ, saying of Lorre “Clearly I have defeated this earthworm with my words — imagine what I would have done with my fire breathing fists.”
