George Clooney Called as Witness in Berlusconi Sex Trial

Days after prosecutors released pictures of the alluring models who allegedly frequented Silvio Berlusconi’s “bunga bunga” sex parties, the premier’s lawyers announced they have called movie star George Clooney as a defence witness. Karima El Mahroug, the Moroccan woman nicknamed “Ruby” who Berlusconi allegedly paid for sex when she was only 17, claims that Clooney and his girlfriend, Elisabetta Canalis, were at one of the premier’s parties at his villa outside of Milan. Clooney said he only recalled meeting Berlusconi once, and it was to discuss African aid.
