World’s First 3-D Porn Film to Open in Taiwan

Tour groups are already being organized from mainland China, where Sex and Zen is banned.

Thanks a lot, James Cameron! Ever since Avatar, filmmakers have been scrambling to rework their movies into a 3-D format, so it was probably only a matter of time before someone decided to venture into a whole new dimension of smut. When it was first released in 1991, Sex and Zen became a cult classic for its depictions of sexual proclivity in Imperial China, and now writer and director Stephen Shiu has turned the $3.1-million movie into the world’s first major 3-D porn film. The movie is banned in China but will open next week in Taiwan and Hong Kong, and Shiu promises audiences will feel “like they are sitting right there on the edge of the bed.”
