The Liberals launch a new poll to find a replacement quote for an ad they aired that the Conservatives say misquoted Stephen Harper.

The Conservatives demanded on Monday that the Liberals pull one of their ads, claiming that it misquotes leader Stephen Harper about health care. The Tories charge that a quote from a Globe and Mail column ("It's Past Time the Feds Scrapped the Canada Health Act") is unfairly made to look as if it was uttered by Harper during his time as vice-president of the National Citizens Coalition when it was actually written by the NCC's then-president, David Somerville, in 1997. The Grits agreed to pull the ad, but set up an online poll to find a suitable replacement quote.
