Politically motived vandalism results in the damage of at least two dozen vehicles over the weekend.

Vandals have targeted Toronto Liberal supporters in two ridings over the weekend. The first incident occurred in St. Paul's riding, where cars parked at homes with Liberal election signs sustained slashed tires and scratched paint. Similar vandalism was reported from residents in the Bloor Street and Bathurst area on Saturday morning by Liberal supporters, who woke up to six damaged cars, as well as eight bicycles with punctured tires. But apparently the Liberals are not alone. According to Joe Cressy, campaign chair for Olivia Chow, the incumbent MP in the Trinity-Spadina riding, about 10 to 50 NDP signs are defaced every night.
