Notes taken from Osama bin Laden's Abbottabad compound point to a plot to derail a train in September of this year.

The recently deceased Osama bin Laden was planning an attack on an American railway to mark the 10th anniversary of 9-11, according to documents obtained by U.S. forces in the raid that killed the terrorist mastermind. American officials said that the handwritten note from February 2010 suggests bin Laden was more active in attack planning in recent years than was previously thought. The plot aimed to derail an unspecified train to send it plummeting into a valley or off a bridge this September. Meanwhile, protests are underway across Pakistan to mark what demonstrators feel was an unlawful intrusion by the U.S. into their country to kill bin Laden.
