The Keep A Breast Foundation's cheeky slogan focuses on getting youth interested in breast cancer.
A breast-cancer-awareness campaign has been banned from a few Ontario high schools due to its message: “I love boobies.” Students at Oshawa's R.S. McLaughlin Collegiate were told to remove bracelets emblazoned with the slogan, and students at two other high schools in the Durham District School Board had to take off T-shirts saying the same thing. The slogan is part of a campaign launched by the Keep A Breast Foundation, an American breast cancer charity. Their bracelets were the subject of controversy south of the border, eventually leading to a ruling by a Pennsylvania judge that banning them from schools was a violation of students' freedom of speech.
