Taliban Starts Tweeting in English

Is your Twitter feed lacking a little ultra-ultra-ultra-ultra conservative insight?

The Taliban might wish to see Afghanistan return to a society based on medieval interpretations of the Qur'an, but that hasn't stopped them from jumping aboard the social-media bandwagon. Today, the Islamist insurgent group began tweeting in English to spread its message to its 1,108 (and counting!) followers of their supposed victories over coalition forces and the “Karzai puppet regime.” Feel free to follow the Taliban at @alemarahweb for the hope that they, like nearly everyone else on Twitter, become more preoccupied with Charlie Sheen or what they had for dinner than intimidating young girls from going to school and firing Soviet-era rockets at nearly everything that moves.
