Thousands of Vancouver Canucks fan swelled Vancouver's downtown area after their team's overtime win.

Ecstatic Vancouver Canucks fans formed an impromptu parade after their team's overtime win over the Boston Bruins in game two of the Stanley Cup Finals. The fans streamed out of Rogers Area, stopping traffic in a large area of downtown Vancouver as they waved flags, hoisted mock Stanley Cups and dressed in blue and green to support their team. The crowd caused some trouble for the city's public transit system, with several downtown buses being re-routed due to the commotion on the main streets. Enormous crowds also swelled the downtown SkyTrain stations. The City of Vancouver had also set up two giant screens in the downtown core, filling it to capacity with an estimated 4,000 fans.
