Rotating postal strikes are entering their second week, while Air Canada's service reps are looking to follow suit.
The Canada Post strike is entering its second week today with labour and management no closer to a resolution than they were seven days ago. The Canadian Union of Postal Workers' rotating strikes hit Kitchener, Ont., and Quebec City today, while Canada Post will trim delivery in urban areas to just Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays as the two sides attempt to reconcile over wages and sick days. In other labour unrest news, Air Canada's ticketing agents are a day closer to declaring a strike, which could happen as soon as Monday if no deal is reached today.
