Have we ever taken the time to say how unimpeachably great and funny and all-around neat LulzSec is? (Please don't hurt us.)
We're going to be judicious about what we write here, lest we're targeted next (have fun with our CMS, if so), but LulzSec has now hacked about 62,000 accounts on Facebook, Paypal, Twitter, Xbox Live, and dating sites. The anonymous group uploaded the account details to the file-sharing site Mediafire a and claimed that thousands of people had downloaded the data. In some cases, the hackers uploaded pornographic images to compromised Facebook accounts, proving that what they might lack in maturity they make up for in technical acumen. The latest strikes come after the CIA, the U.S. Senate, Nintendo, PBS, and Fox News were targeted in the last two months.
