The first in what will no doubt be a long line of many artistic endeavours based on the death of Osama bin Laden hits store shelves Sept. 6.

A retired U.S. Marine Corps captain is penning a graphic novel based on last month's assassination of Osama bin Laden. Code Word: Geronimo, by Capt. Dale Dye and Julia Dye, is slated for release on Sept. 6, just five days before the 10th anniversary of the 9-11 terrorist attacks. Part of the proceeds from the sales will go to help American military veterans. While the names of the Navy SEALs involved in the raid are being withheld from publication, much of the rest of the raid, from its planning through to the two bullets that felled bin Laden, will be reproduced faithfully, albeit without much in the way of blood and gore.
