Montreal's finest will sit down with the Bruins' defenceman to determine if charges are necessary for his March 8 hit.
Stanley Cup champion, Boston Bruins' captain, Slovak national hero, and giant man-beast Zdeno Chara will meet with Montreal police in the next few weeks to discuss his neck-breaking hit on the Canadiens' Max Pacioretty. The police launched an investigation into the check, which ended Pacioretty's season and whatever sense of reasonableness was left in the Canadiens' fanbase, and have interviewed all other parties involved in it except for Chara, who was otherwise occupied pounding grown men into boards for millions of dollars. If investigators believe there is enough evidence, they could charge the 6'9" defenceman with assault.
