The Canadian national hockey teams will either be travelling to France, Germany, or South Korea to dominate the world yet again.
The three cities vying to hold the 2018 Winter Olympic Games will find out today which bid will win. Munich, Germany, Annecy, France, and Pyeongchang, South Korea, all made their final cases for why they should host the games, with many speculating that Pyeongchang will emerge victorious. South Korea has never hosted the Winter Olympic Games, and last hosted the summer version in 1988 (when Ben Johnson broke the world record in how fast one can fall from being a national hero to a sporting pariah). The 2010 Games were, of course, held in Vancouver and Whistler, which were basically two of the best weeks in Canada's history. The next winter games are lined up for Sochi, Russia, in 2014. International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge will announce the winner in just a few hours.
