Obama Hosting First Twitter Town Hall Tonight

Our submission: How's that whole quitting-smoking thing going with the budgetary crisis, three wars, and rampant unemployment?

U.S. President Barack Obama will host a virtual town-hall meeting tonight on Twitter in which he'll respond to questions marked with the hashtag #askobama. Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey will read out questions selected from what will be thousands of submissions to the account @TownHall, which the president will answer in front of a live audience in Washington. The event is supposed to focus on the economy and jobs, leading Republican presidential hopeful Willard “Mitt” Romney to ask, pointedly, “Where are the jobs?” on the microblogging platform. Let's just hope Obama's answers are a little more substantial than the 140-character-or-less queries sent his way.
