Blacklisted protesters have been barred from flying to Israel after the flotilla's journey fell apart.
About 200 activists whose Gaza-bound boats were banned from leaving Greece have also been grounded at airports across Europe, as the “flytilla” seems to have hit a patch of turbulence. Israel has provided airlines throughout Europe with a list of activists attempting to fly to Ben-Gurion Airport, where they were planning to protest Israeli policies toward Palestine. Two blacklisted American citizens were also arrested and deported at the Israeli airport, which is still expecting as many as 400 protesters to arrive today, although the airport has yet to report any serious disruptions. The flotilla of 10 boats had originally planned to sail to Gaza, but was held up on Greek government orders in ports around the country.
