[VIDEO] A Montreal resident discusses his experiences participating in, and documenting, the ongoing conflict in Libya. He fights on the side of the anti-Ghadafi forces in Misrata.
Hamid returned to his native Libya earlier this year to join the movement to unseat Moammar Ghadafi. He was recently injured when a tank round exploded near him, killing two of his comrades and embedding shrapnel in his leg. He says he is eager to return to the front-lines. He is a life-long Montreal Canadiens fan, as seen by his combat attire.
