Owner-Eating Dogs Will Make Great Pets, We Swear!

Pets abandoned after their owners died did what any other animals would do, says a leading dog trainer.

Five dogs who ate the remains of the eastern Saskatchewan couple that owned them after the wife died and the husband killed himself are in good shape and ready for adoption, according to a renowned dog trainer. The dogs, left without someone to look after them when the husband took his own life, ate the couple's remains to survive, but that doesn't make them dangerous, says Brad Patterson, host of the dog-training TV show Puppy SOS. The dogs were soon rescued by the Saskatoon SPCA, where they've been checked out and are now awaiting adoption.
