Tall People More Likely To Develop Cancer

British study suggests that when it comes to cancer rates, tall people get the short end of the stick.
Oxford University researchers have found that tall people are more likely to develop cancer than their Napolianesque counterparts. In a study involving 1.3 million British women, scientists found a 16 percent increase in cancer risk for every four inches of height, even controlling for age, socioeconomic status, and other factors. The research team believes the results apply equally to men. Co-author Dr. Jane Green says scientists are unsure why this correlation exists, with some attributing it to growth hormones and others positing that simply having more cells may cause the increased risk. Nicolas Sarkozy has yet to comment on the findings.
