No word on whether another Ford niece is good enough to make the cut. Or Jose Calderon.
Toronto will continue its ascent into the echelon of world-class cities with the news that a bikini basketball league will hold tryouts this weekend in the Ontario capital. Bikini Basketball Entertainment looks set to join the Lingerie Football League as the latest scantily clad athletic endeavour to descend on the city, although it's unclear if the BBE ladies will actually be playing games in Toronto. The BBE apparently holds pay-per-view events for its games, which are the typical four quarters in length, although the nets are lowered because frankly, if we may be so crass, we find it unlikely that the calibre of athlete coming out to play basketball in a bikini is capable of draining three pointers on a regulation net (prove us wrong, BBE), especially if the professionals in the city are nearly incapable of doing so as well. And who said there weren't good employment opportunities for the province's youth?
