Well, it's better than burning down her house ...

The mayor of a small Quebec town dropped a 20-tonne boulder on his ex-wife's driveway as a birthday present, claiming that his old flame was always complaining about wanting a bigger "rock." Dany Lariviere, mayor of St-Theodore-d'Acton, a town east of Montreal, paid to have the boulder, festooned with a bow and spraypainted to say “Bonne Fete Isa,” left on Isabelle Prevost's driveway on Sunday morning. Prevost wasn't exactly thrilled with the gift, and called the provincial police to deal with the boulder. Lariviere, who says he paid through the teeth to retain some custody of the couple's children, claims the police actually helped him take the boulder to Prevost's property, although the politician could soon face charges of mischief.
