Earthquaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake!

A magnitude 6.0 earthquake shook the ground everywhere between Ottawa and Washington D.C., bringing to mind last year's devastating quake that knocked over a patio chair or two in Toronto. The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake struck in northern Virginia, about 140 kilometres southwest of Washington at 1:51 p.m. The Pentagon and the U.S. Capitol Building were both evacuated as a precaution, while various folk on Twitter reported seeing buildings shake, but we've yet to see any reports of damage. Staffers here at The Mark offices in Toronto reported slight shifts in their seats.
