Mel Gibson Making a Movie about Judah Maccabee

Don't worry, it's already been condemned.

Mel Gibson, best known for his role in Braveheart, misogyny, homophobia, antisemitism, and racism, is developing a new film about Jewish hero Judah Maccabee. Gibson's company, Icon Productions, is creating the film with Time Warner Inc, though it's still in its infancy. Judah Maccabee is regarded as a hero for leading a revolt against the Seleucid Empire in the 2nd century B.C., thereby accidentally creating the story of Chanukah. Gibson's involvement is already causing a stir, following his controversial choices in "The Passion of the Christ" and 2006 claim that "Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world." Maccabee has yet to be cast, though we hear John Galliano is looking for work.
