The Most Tasteless Hacking Ever

The Script Kiddies hacked the NBC News Twitter account last night and falsely announced that a plane crashed into Ground Zero.

You’d think even the people who hacked Fox News and tweeted that President Obama was dead would draw the line somewhere. On the eve of the 10th anniversary of the September 11th attacks, the same group has taken credit for hacking the NBC News Twitter account Friday evening and falsely reporting that a civilian airplane crashed into Ground Zero. “The Script Kiddies,” who are believed to be an offshoot of "Anonymous" and "LulzSec," posted three fake news items about the incident to NBC’s 130,000 followers before Twitter shut the account down eight minutes later. Further proof that though they may technically be human, these hackers may turn out to be robots.
