Many of the bears that frequented a grow op for kibble are now feasting on the great honey pot in the sky.
Remember those friendly bears in southeastern B.C. that were fed by a marijuana grower? Well, they're probably dead now, as conservation officers in the the Christina Lake area have had to euthanize 17 bears this summer because they were too comfortable around humans and tended to wander into backyards looking for food. That's three times the number of bears that are usually put down in the region, leading authorities to believe that many of the bears that frequented Allan Piche's grow-op for dog food ventured further into human settlements once that food source was taken away.
