The incident is being labelled an "accident."
A Yemeni government plane has “accidentally” bombed a group of soldiers and medical officers in southern Yemen. At least 30 soldiers have been killed and several others are injured after the warplane targeted an abandoned school they were using as shelter. The incident is considered to be suspicious, since the group of soldiers called the 119th Brigade has openly rebelled against President Ali Abdullah Saleh and recently received support from the U.S. military. On Friday, an American drone killed three al-Qaida leaders in Yemen including U.S. born Anwar al-Awlaki, Samir Khan and Ibrahim al-Asiri.
