Research in Motion an Attractive Employer

Because smartphone engineers are notoriously good-looking.
Research in Motion, the Ontario-based BlackBerry producer, has been deemed the most attractive employer by Randstad Canada. The recruitment firm said RIM won their inaugural award for leading the country with a pleasant work atmosphere, career progression, high-quality training, strong management and salary and job opportunities. Despite dismal stock market performances and a loss of 2,000 jobs this July, the Waterloo company beat out all other Canadian employers surveyed. Other winners included IBM Canada, McGill University (whose non-academic workers have been on strike for weeks), Air Canada (let’s not even get started with that one) and Bombardier.
