Grand Theft Auto V Is Happening!

Be still, our little nerdy gamer hearts ... the greatest game of all time is getting an upgrade.

Let's face it: This year has been kinda depressing, what with the lingering economic crises, Fukushima, the Norwegian massacre, slaughter in Syria ... it can really take a toll on a guy. But then somedays, you receive a little bit of news that will keep your eyes bright and your hopes high for weeks, nay, years to come. Today is one of those days: Grand Theft Auto V is in the works and could be finding a home in your PlayStation 3 or XBox 360 in a few years' time. The follow-up to the landmark Grand Theft Auto IV, in which you played a Serbian immigrant who makes his way up the criminal underworld in a faux New York City, has been the subject of much speculation for years, but finally, Rockstar Games confirmed that it will pump out another instalment of the shoot-em-up classic. Many more details will be released next week, so when it's going to be released and when and where it will be set are still unknown, although some rumours point to it taking place in modern times with the recession expected to figure in heavily. Previous games had been set in fake versions of Miami, California, and London, but this could be the first that's explicitly set in the real world. We can't wait.
