Deadly Suicide Bombings in Afghanistan

13 NATO members were killed in a car bombing in Kabul today.

It’s been a terrible day in Afghanistan. A suicide car bombing in Kabul has left 13 NATO service members dead. The Taliban immediately claimed responsibility for packing the van with explosives in a mass text to the press. Earlier today, in southern Afghanistan, a shooter killed himself and two Afghan military forces before NATO sealed the area. And in the capital of Kunar province near the border with Pakistan, a female suicide bomber tried to attack a government office and blew herself up when guards became suspicious. No one else was killed by her bomb.
