Much-Reduced Flotilla Attempts to Break Gaza Blockade Again

Trying the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is a definition of something, but we just can't remember which word...
Remember a few months back when a bunch of Canadian and European activists tried to sail a few ships through the Israeli blockade of Gaza? And then how it didn't work out at all? Well, get ready for Round 2, as two vessels, one Canadian, one Irish, have set sail from Turkey with the goal of breaking the blockade. The pro-Palestinian activists aboard the two ships (it's a bit of a stretch to call this one a "flotilla") say they're in international waters and will soon be off of Gaza's coast, but the Israeli navy says it will prevent the vessels from getting to their destination. Twenty-seven activists from five different countries are aboard the two ships. The Canadian one, the Tahrir, was involved in the last ill-fated flotilla adventure, which attempted to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza after a similar mission in 2010 resulted in nine Turkish citizens getting killed by Israeli commandos.
