Not-so-smooth criminal guilty of administering fatal dose of painkiller.
A California jury has decided that Dr. Conrad Murray is guilty of the involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson, a guy who sang some songs in the 1970s and '80s. Murray could face up to four years in prison for the conviction, which stemmed from Jackson's fatal overdose on the anesthetic propofol in 2009. Prosecutors had argued that Murray was grossly negligent in administering the powerful drug to Jackson, who asked for the drug so that he could get some sleep. Murray returns to court for sentencing on Nov. 29. Jackson remains dead.
