Breivik Back in Court, Complains About Treatment

Awww, poor widdle mass-murderer can't deal with a widdle solitary confinement.

Anders Behring Breivik, the man who's confessed to slaughtering 77 people this summer in Norway's worst attack of any kind since the Second World War, appeared in court today to learn that he will not be allowed to address the families of his victims. There is a ban on publishing any and all video and photographs taken of Breivik in court, but the judge presiding over the case has ruled that the media can publish his words. So far, he's taken the opportunity to proclaim himself a "military commander in a resistance movement" against multiculturalism. He also complained that solitary confinement, in which he's been held since being arrested, is an "irrational torture method." Boo-hoo. We suppose Norwegian authorities could find a more rational torture method if that's what he's looking for. If he's found to not be totally insane, then Breivik's trial will likely open in April.
