See? Barack Obama IS creating jobs.

Hey all you unemployed astrophysics grads in peak physical shape! NASA wants YOU to apply to be an astronaut for the next round of flights headed to the International Space Station. Granted, NASA doesn't have any space shuttles of its own at the moment, as the entire fleet was retired earlier this summer, but there's plenty of room available aboard Russia's Soyuz spacecraft. (And we all know how well the Russian space agency's been doing lately.) Regardless, if you have the necessary credentials (including being a U.S. citizen with an understanding of Russian), NASA would love for you to upload your resume to their site. You can expect as much as $140,000 a year and the unending envy of us terrestrials for the rest of your life.
