Beau's to Home Deliver Beer in Ontario

Beer: it's all about charity, really.
For the sake of the homeless, Ottawa residents will once again be allowed to get Beau’s beer delivered to their homes. The charitable home delivery service run by the Vankleek Hill microbrewery had been shut down last week just as it was starting up. Provincial officials told the company they were violating the Ontario Liquor Licence Act, which requires delivery services to purchase their beer from the LCBO or The Beer Store. Now, the Attorney General has granted them a regulatory exemption as the province reconsiders the Liquor License Act. Beau’s delivery service, which is expected to re-open this week, is run in conjunction with a charity assisting homeless youth.
