Children's Version of Go the F@$k to Sleep Released

'Seriously, Just Go to Sleep' features no swear words and an illustration of Pulp Fiction-era Samuel L. Jackson.

Go the Fuck to Sleep, the best-selling children's book for adults, has been re-released as an actual children's book, but with a decidedly more family-friendly name: Seriously, Just Go to Sleep. The original, by Adam Mansbach, sold more than 100,000 copies before it was even released in May of this year. It was later turned into an audiobook (narrated by, of course, Samuel L. Jackson) and the film studio Fox 2000 has purchased the movie rights to it – all of which sort of made the release of a fake children's book as an actual children's book inevitable, although taking the swear words out of the book also takes away its chief selling point. It's kind of like buying non-alcoholic beer, we suppose. However, there is a new illustration in the censored version of Samuel L. dressed as Jules from Pulp Fiction breaking into a house, so it's not entirely a write-off.
