Pee on Your iPhone, Diagnose a Disease?

We mean other than a disease that compels you to urinate on a smartphone.
The Apple iPhone's touchscreen could soon be used to diagnose illnesses by having a user drop blood, saliva, or, yep, even urine on the device. South Korean researchers are working on a way to mesh a so-called "lab on a chip," or a microchip that can collect bodily fluids and be sent off to a proper lab for diagnosis, with the ubiquitous iPhone. The iPhone's touchscreen is far more sensitive than what is necessary to respond to the electrical charge in a fingertip, so researchers at the Korea Advanced Institute for Science and Technology believe the screens might be able to identify biomarkers in urine or saliva that would indicate a disease. If this is the case, then people with illnesses that require constant monitoring of their bodily fluids might be able to do most of that monitoring on their own at home.
