Just so you don't feel alone in the world, Nielson has listed the most visited U.S. “Web Brands” of 2011. Google topped the charts on all categories, with over 153 million unique visitors per month. Page and Brin beat out runner-up Facebook, which attracted just 137 million, and Yahoo came in third with 130 million. Despite its remarkable repertoire of kittens, Youtube only ranked fifth, with MSN, Microsoft, AOL, Wikipedia, Apple and the Ask Search Network rounding out the top 10. Somehow, MySpace was still more popular this year than LinkedIn, Tumblr, and Google+, proving just how much angst is still out there if you look hard enough. Meanwhile, in Canada, people were busy watching Friday and Ultimate Dog Tease on Youtube, searching for the Census and Skyrim on Google, and looking up Kim Kardashian on Bing. On LinkedIn, Canadians were most likely to overuse the words "creative," "effective" and "motivated."
