Iran: The CIA is Behind the Bombing

The government says it has evidence that Americans were involved in killing nuclear scientist Mostafa Ahmadi-Roshan on Wednesday.

According to Iranian state television, the United States is behind Wednesday’s assassination of a nuclear scientist. Mostafa Ahmadi-Roshan, director of the Natanz uranium enrichment facility, was killed in broad daylight after motorcyclists attached a magnetic bomb to his car. According to a letter handed to the Swiss Embassy, which effectively represents American interests in Tehran, Iran has evidence that the car bomb attack was planned with the direct involvement of CIA-linked agents. Earlier in the week, the United States denounced the attack and said it was not involved. The Iranian government also reportedly sent a “letter of condemnation” to the U.K. reminding them that the five attacks on Iranian nuclear scientists did not occur until after a British official declared a new start to intelligence operations against their regime.
