Study: For every daily hot dog you eat, your pancreatic cancer risk goes up 19 per cent.
A new Swedish study has linked red and processed meat to pancreatic cancer. According to the report, which was published in the British Journal of Cancer, every 50g of processed meat you consume in a day increases your risk of developing pancreatic cancer by 19 per cent. Though the odds of developing the cancer are said to be relatively low, researchers warn that pancreatic cancer has fairly poor survival rates. An earlier study found that red and processed meat is also correlated with bowel cancer. Science: proving time after time that everything delicious will eventually kill you.
