Colbert Enters GOP Race

Sadly, he is not the most absurd candidate running in the election.

Which smart, sarcastic, and wealthy GOP candidate is outpolling Jon M. Hunstman Jr.? Stephen Colbert. The comedian has announced that he is running in the South Carolina presidential primary, where reports have him polling at 5 per cent in popularity. With Jon Stewart in charge of his “Super” political action committee called “Americans for a Better Tomorrow, Tomorrow,” Colbert is ready to discuss campaign spending laws in his home state. Though he missed the November 1st filing deadline, Colbert may be in it for a write-in candidacy. Or you know, just to make fun of his running-mates again.
