Guillermo Torres

Guillermo Torres is an astronomer at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics in Cambridge (MA). He has been active in extrasolar planet research since the beginning of this field in 1995. He has been a member of the science team for NASA's Kepler mission to search for transiting extrasolar planets, and is a co-investigator for NASA's successor TESS mission to be launched in 2016, which will expand the search for transiting planets to the entire sky.
