Former Chief Economist of the US State DepartmentKeith Maskus is Art and Sciences Professor of Distinction in Economics at the University of Colorado Boulder. He also served as Chief Economist of the US State Department from October 2016 to October 2017 and earlier was Lead Economist at the World Bank. He was Associate Dean for Social Sciences at CU Boulder from 2007-2013. He has been a Lead Economist in the Development Research Group at the World Bank. He is widely published in international economics, investment, and intellectual property rights.
